We had a fantastic stay at Upstairs in Antwerp. The spacious room was bright and beautifully decorated, seamlessly blending modern and historic elements. The comfortable bed and fabulous bathroom were a great touch. The location was perfect, great to explore the city on foot and experience all the main tourist attractions without needing to use public transport. We particularly liked the retro atmosphere in the little hall on the first floor. The owner was helpful and accommodating, great to leave our luggage after checkout. Despite some minor drawbacks such as the lack of a desk lamp and the occasional street noise, our overall experience was excellent. We will definitely book this room again on our next visit to Antwerp, as there is still so much to see and some amazing restaurants to try. I highly recommend Upstairs in Antwerp for a great stay in the heart of the city.

The room at Upstairs in Antwerp was absolutely lovely! It had a private bathroom with a shower, which was great because I value my own personal space. The double room also had a balcony, and I couldn't help but enjoy a cup of tea every morning while overlooking the city. It even had an electric kettle and a tea/coffee maker, making my stay even more comfortable. I felt really cozy and content in the room as a budget traveler.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the tea/coffee maker in the room. I know some people love having it easily accessible, but I prefer getting my caffeine fix from a local cafe.
